About Wellgevity

We combine clinical medicine, lived experience and integrative thinking to offer a personalised approach to care and longevity.

A more considered way to approach your health.

Meet the founder, Dr Tamsin Lewis

Dr Tamsin Lewis’ work sits at the intersection of medicine, performance and longevity, but her path into this space hasn’t been conventional.

Trained as a medical doctor, her early career spanned both clinical medicine and psychiatry, giving her a nuanced understanding of how physiological and psychological factors intersect. Alongside this, she competed as an elite athlete, gaining first-hand experience of what it means to push the body, to recover from strain and to sustain performance over time.

It was through the combination of these worlds, rather than any one discipline alone, that a more complete picture began to emerge.

Health, she observed, is rarely straightforward. It does not operate in isolated systems, nor does it respond predictably to standardised approaches. Instead, it is shaped by context, by timing, and by the way multiple systems interact beneath the surface.

As her work evolved into integrative and longevity-focused care, this pattern became increasingly clear. Many of the individuals she worked with were already deeply invested in their health. They were testing, tracking and following advanced protocols, yet still experiencing inconsistency, fatigue or a sense that something wasn’t fully resolving. The issue was not a lack of effort, but a lack of clarity and cohesion.

That understanding then became profoundly personal following her own experience with COVID. Navigating a prolonged and complex recovery, she encountered first-hand the limitations of conventional healthcare – fragmented, reactive and often unable to account for the full picture. Without continuity or integration, progress felt uncertain.

This experience reshaped her approach entirely.

Rather than viewing health as a series of symptoms to address, it became a process of understanding the system as a whole – recognising that without regulation, optimisation cannot be sustained, and that meaningful progress depends on sequencing, context and continuity.

Wellgevity was built from that shift. A more considered way of working with health, one that prioritises clarity over complexity, integration over isolation, and a long-term partnership over short-term intervention.

Why Wellgevity exists

Put simply, modern healthcare is not designed for complexity. It is structured around:

Short appointments

Isolated specialisms

Reactive treatment

Partial answers

Inconsistent progress

At the same time, the rise of optimisation culture has introduced a different problem – more data, protocols and tracking available at our fingertips, but not necessarily more clarity.

We exist to offer something different: a model built on continuity, personalisation and thoughtful oversight. Where your health is not treated as a series of isolated issues, but as an evolving system.

Our Philosophy

Regulation before optimisation.

Everything at Wellgevity is grounded in the Bioharmony Method. Our framework that recognises that sustainable health is not built by adding more, but by understanding what the body needs, in the right order, at the right time.

This means:

  • Addressing underlying dysregulation before pushing optimisation
  • Working with the body, not against it
  • Adapting support as your physiology and circumstances change
