Low Dose Naltrexone, LDN

Low Dose Naltrexone, often called LDN, is a prescription medication used at much lower doses than standard naltrexone.

is being explored for its effects on immune regulation, inflammation, pain signalling and recovery. It may be considered in carefully selected patients with autoimmune conditions, chronic fatigue, ME/CFS, Long Covid, persistent pain, inflammatory symptoms or complex recovery patterns.

LDN is thought to work partly by influencing the body’s own endorphin system and by modulating immune and nervous system signalling. This is why it is of interest in conditions where inflammation, immune activation or nervous system sensitivity may be contributing to symptoms.

For some people, LDN can be highly effective when used as part of a guided clinical programme, particularly when combined with the right support around sleep, nutrition, stress physiology, hormones, movement, recovery and wider systemic health. The aim is not just symptom control, but improving resilience, daily function and quality of life.

LDN is not a supplement, and it is not suitable for everyone. It is often used off-label and should only be taken under medical supervision.

At Wellgevity®️, LDN is prescribed selectively, following a medical review with one of our doctors.
